Located in Historic Downtown Doylestown
The Bucks County Civil War Library Museum and Library is located 1/2 block from the Bucks County Courthouse at 32 N. Broad Street, Doylestown. The museum is open free to the public on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 2 pm.
DIRECTIONS TO THE MUSEUM
From PA Turnpike: Coming from the Turnpike follow N. 611. After approximately 10 miles and many traffic lights you will come to the 611 bypass. You will see large piles of split wood on the right. Stay to the right. Follow the sign. Continue on route 611 which turns into Main Street at the Doylestown town limit. Cross over State Street, Starbucks at traffic light on left. At the top of the hill you will see an obelisk monument (104th PVI) and the Courthouse. Turn right onto E. Court Street. Follow to Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad St. the Library/Museum is on the right at the corner of Broad Street and Garden Alley. Across the street there is free parking on Saturdays in the VIP parking lot.
